演劇祭5～開会式/The Opening Ceremony～

　椿の木の枝に、出雲民芸紙でつくった赤と白の花。里山から採ってきた藤づるで見事に飾られたアルバホール。セレモニー委員会の手づくりのステージに照りが入って開会式が始まりました。
　松江ウィンドアンサンブルによって、参加５ヶ国の国歌が演奏される中、各国の国旗が入場し、観客から大きな拍手がわきおこりました。
　続いて、石倉徳章村長が歓迎の挨拶を行いました。また、しいの実シアター名誉館長の有馬稲子さんも駆けつけてくださり、この演劇祭の発展を期待したいと話されました。

The setting is Alba Hall beautifully decorated with wisteria vines taken from the foot of the mountain. On the branches of camellia trees are many red and white flowers, fabricated from Izumo washi (traditional paper) handmade in Yakumo. The lights hit the stage designed by the Ceremony Committee for the commencement of the Opening Ceremony. While the Matsue Wind Ensemble played the national anthems of the five participating countries while the national flags were carried into the hall with thunderous applause arising from the audience. Norifumi Ishikura, the Mayor of Yakumo Village led words of welcome. Shiinomi Theatre's Honorary Director, Ms. Ineko Arima came especially for this ceremony to give a congratulatory message, expressing prosperity and development for the festival.
