学校訪問/The Visits to Yakumo's Schools

　11月9日（金）には各国劇団員約60名が、リハーサルの合間をぬって、八雲村内の小中学校を訪問しました。子どもたちとの心和むひとときでした。

On Friday, November 9th, about 60 members of the various theatre groups, during breaks from rehearsals visited the elementary and the junior high schools in Yakumo Village. It was a hert-warming time for both the students and the theatre group participants.

　八雲小学校では、学年ごとに交流した後、全校で集まって歌やゲームを楽しみました。子どもたちも大喜びでした。給食センターの協力により実現したバイキング給食も、大変好評でした。
After a little time to get ti know each other in the individual classrooms, the school gathered as a whole to sing songs and play games. It was an enjoyable time for all, especially the students. With great cooperation from the "Kyushoku Center" (The center which prepares lunches for the schools), a wonderful buffet lunch was offered and well savored!

　八雲中学校では、全校で自己紹介やゲームをした後、学年ごとに料理や合唱の練習、リクリエーションスポーツなどを通して交流しました。そして、学級ごとに給食を共にしました。

The Junior High School, started with introductions and games for everyone in the gym, followed by activities with each individual class like cooking, chorus practice and sport. typical school lunches were eaten wuth the students in their classrooms.
