中学生のためのワークショップ/A Workshop for Yakumo's Junior High Students

The Jest in Time Theatre group did a workshop, which gave lessons on expressing oneself using body movement, to 93 first grade students of Yakumo Junior High School. The students tried pantomime and creating the illusion of waves on the sea, using their fingers. Many studenta commented on their experience saying that it was much fun and most unique.

「ジェスト・イン・タイム・シアター」は、八雲中学校で１年生９３人に表現方法を教えるワークショップをしました。パントマイムに挑戦したり、指で波を表現したりと、生徒の皆さんも初めての楽しい体験でした。

演劇祭の交流委員会と八雲中学校が連携をとって、島根県立美術館で「八雲国際演劇祭 八雲中学校ポスター展」を開催しました。これは、参加劇団の上演作品のあらすじを元に、生徒の皆さんが想像を膨らませて描いたポスターで、訪れた人たちもその創造力にびっくりしておられました。会期中は来村歓迎用として、会場やホームスティ先にも飾られました。
