Established in 1964, this theatre group refocused its vision in the 90's, to use domestic creative dramas in search of their own unique expression.

この作品は、亡者の魂を洗って極楽浄土に送らせようとする韓国の伝統的　巫俗儀式｢シッキム｣を取り入れている。副題はオーケストラでオーボエＡ絶対音に合わせてチューニングされるように、今、生きる人間がどのようにチューニングされていくのかを象徴的に描いている。

This play dramatizes a traditional Shamanic ceremony meant for cleansing the souls of the deceased so they may proceed to heaven. This ceremony is called the "Sikkim". The oboe's A note is said to be the ultimate of notes & is often used to tune other instruments before an orchestra's performance. It is chosen to symbolize how people alive today are also being "tuned".
