演劇祭20～総合劇評会/The Final Critique～

　総合劇評会が行われるアルバホールは、熱気に包まれていました。それぞれどんな劇評がされるのか、各劇団員はわくわくどきどきしながらその時を待っていたのです。
　今回は、審査員と会場とのディスカッション形式で行われ、参加劇団員や観客、スタッフからもたくさんの感想や質問が出されました。

At the atsart of the Final Critique, Alba Hall was flushed with feverish excitement, perhaps because the theatre members waited with eager anticipation for the forthcoming comments on their acting and theatrical skills. This time, the Final Critique was carried out in the form of an open discussion, between the adjudicators, the members of the participating theatre groups, members of the audience, and staff. During the discussion, impressions and questions about each play were actively and freely exchanged.

　チュア・スーポンさんと貝山武久さんは、１９９９年の演劇祭にも審査員として参加され,今回は２回目です。
　エバ・モーアさんに付いては、八雲とのお付き合いは長いのですが、今回は初めて審査員として参加されました。モーアサンは「ＹＩＴＦ」と友好姉妹演劇祭提携を結んでいる「リバプール国際演劇祭」の芸術監督です。
　３人の審査員は、参加劇団や観客のために、演劇理解と演劇スキルを伸ばすことを願って、上演された作品ごとに分かりやすく具体的に解説されました。

For Chua Soo Pong and Takehisa Kaiyama, this is theiw second YITF festival adjudication, after also having participated in 1999. Eva Moore has a long history with Yakumo, although it is her first time adjudicating at this festival.She is also the Artistic Director of the "Liverpool International Theatre Festival" that was twinned with YITF. With a strong desire to broaden understanding of theatre and its skill, for both the groups & audience prticipants,these threeadjudicators gave simplified yet specific commentaries on each performance.
